Picture History of the Cunard Line, 1840-1990
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (August, 1991)
Authors: Frank Osborn Braynard and William H. Miller
Average review score:

Great book about an incredible company!
You aren't an ocean liner buff if you don't have this book! It is REQUIRED. You also ought to have every other book written by Miller and Braynard - the books they've worked on together and apart are beyond words. I have close to all in my private collection. Do yourself a favor and get them all - today! You won't regret it.

Great browsing
This book is really alot of fun to page through over and over again. It is a must-have for ship fans.

Recalling Historic Cunard Liners
As a source of both information and rare photographs, few books can equal Picture History of the Cunard Line. This book includes many little known facts about some of the most famous ships in maritime history. Yet,while it recalls the careers of the better known Cunarders,it also addresses many of the Companies less remembered ships. The great Aquitania who's lengthy term of service included duties throughout both World Wars is finally given the attention it deserves. Virtually all of the companies intermediate steamers are reviewed as well. Because this book encompasses so many of Cunards' ships; and because it presents over 180 of the best photographs ever published on this subject, it should be a treasured addition to any collection. I highly recommend it to all readers particularly those with just a general interest in the subject.

The Secret Life of the Soul
Published in Hardcover by Broadman & Holman Publishers (September, 1997)
Authors: Keith Miller and J. Keith Miller
Average review score:

Inspirational, thought-provoking...answered my questions.
I couldn't put this book down as it was relentless in answering the questions that I have been asking myself all my life. As a result of a personal crisis and even without realising it, I have been on a spiritual journey for the last two years. I only understand now that my pain was caused through the constant wrestling with my soul and after reading this book I feel more at ease letting my soul reveal itself to allow me to live a happier, more fulfilling but, above all, a spiritual life whereby I am true to myself.

I only wish I was able to shake Keith Miller's hand.

audio is so very helpful in understanding the book
Please please get more audio books on The Search for the Soul. It makes the book come alive as the author reads. Concepts in the book take my re-reading to get, but once I hear it said, there is complete understanding. Thank you, so very much for making this available, Keith.

Great book on the internal battle for the Soul.
He's back! Keith's "A Taste of New Wine" changed my life 25 years ago and then I lost track of him. After reading his latest work, "The Secret Life of the Soul", I realized how much I had missed his writing. His book on the inner struggle for control of our Soul speaks to the heart of every man and woman. I literally could not put it down until I had read every word, from cover to cover. A must read for anyone seaching for REAL meaning in life. Keith, glad you're back! RPR, Franklin, TN

Self-Discipline and Emotional Control: How to Stay Calm and Productive Under Pressure
Published in Audio Cassette by CareerTrack Publications, Inc (April, 2000)
Author: Tom Miller
Average review score:

A must listen to audiobook
This should be the first self help audiobook, one should go through before listening to any other self books.

Wow!!!
I listened to the tapes a few years ago, when I borrowed them off an acquaintance in London, England. I thought that they were great tapes, but I had to give them back before I listened to them all. I forgot the author and title of this book. So, I have been searching for this for close to 6 months, but none of the self-help or 'career' audiobook sites could help me. I finally found it through a lot of searching old catalogs. I suppose he is not well known, but it is definitely the best audiobook that I have listened to. One of the things I like about him, is that he does not sound like a robot. His voice sounds very 'alive'. I have listened to at least 20 self-help or 'selling' audiobooks and this is the one I will never lend away. THE BEST

Life Changing Audio Book
This is a life changing audio book. You should have patience to work through the work book. Self esteem is so clearly explained and how to keep up your self esteem.

Starry Night (Christy Miller Series, No 8)
Published in Paperback by Bethany House (February, 1999)
Author: Robin Jones Gunn
Average review score:

Starry Night Reflections...
I read these books for the first time about two or three years ago, and have been re-reading them again recently. They're such good books. In this novel, Christy again feels the restrictions placed on her by her over-protective parents when she has to spend Christmas with her family instead of her friends. But Marti steps in and the Rose Bowl Parade turns out a pretty good experience. Only, all her relationships seem up in the air. She hasn't heard from Todd, can't find a chance to talk with Rick, and even ends up on the outs with Katie. And why hasn't she ever noticed Doug this way before? This is one of my favorite Christy novels...I love her "starry night reflections."

I love these books!
I really like this book! Especially when Todd came back. I cried. I'm a book lover especially of these books. I just can't wait till the Todd and Christy Series. I love them together. I hope they stay together FOREVER. This book helps me in my life as a young christian.

Christy keeps gettin better
This book tells the ups and downs of fixing realationships and hoping you still have them with other people.Christy is trying to resolve thigs with Rick ,and of course always thinking of Tood.I hope mrs. Gunn comes out with more books .Im hooked!

SYMTOMS:THE COMPLETE HOME MEDICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA
I REALLY LOVE THIS BOOK. IT IS VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGABLE. I WANT TO KNOW IF THEY ARE EVER GOING TO UPGRADE THE BOOK?

Symptoms: The Complete Home Medical Encyclopedia
This is an excellent resource manual. I'm a surgical nurse with 18 years experience and, though my copy is 25 years old, I continue to refer to it often. Its format is exceptional...

very informative and Understandable
I have used this book since 1980. Reference material can be looked up by the symtoms you are having or by the disease. Information has always helped me. When I started having children is was better than Dr. Spocks book. Now 2001, wish he had a recent one with the new medical information out there.

Taigman's Advanced Cardiology (In Plain English)

Authors: Mike Taigman, Syd Canan, and Charly D. Miller
Average review score:

Fantastistic book
I have been teaching 12-lead cardiology classes for paramedics now for several years. This book has been one of only three I recommend to my students. It is best if you already have a background in 12-lead ECG's for infarct recognition. The text will take you to the next level. I highly recommend this publication

the best book on ekg's for ems providers
taigman et al proffer ems providers with an easy to read yet full work on ekg interpretation. the authors have much experience and it comes through clearly. their lectures are spiced up vry nicely with case presentations and cool stories! definately a keeper!

University of Virginia School of Medicine, 2002

This text will put you light years ahead.
During my cardiology module for paramedic training this book put everything into perspective. It is plain, simple english, just as the title suggests. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to excel in the interpretation of ECG's. It has made all the difference in the world in my diagnosis and treatment of dysrrhythmias, especially at 3:00a.m. Read it, know it, love it, practice it.

Thai Cooking Class
Published in Paperback by HarperCollins (November, 1993)
Authors: Somi Anuntra Miller and Patricia Lake
Average review score:

thai me up!
It's the best Thai cookbook I have ever come across. The dishes come out like in a restaurant and the instructions are easy to understand and follow. What more could u ask for?!

Authenticly Delicious
If you are looking to cook amazing Thai food and wish to impress your family and friends.... You MUST buy this book. The steps are easy to follow with some illustrations. Plenty of colored pictures. Definately worth buying!!!

A base for creativity
I have had this book for ages. I even brought it with me 6 years ago when I moved to Thailand. Actually, I bought it after eating at the restaurant in Manly, Sydney. It's a great book to get a feel for what it is to "cook Thai". After you've got that feeling, you can use it as a springboard for creative Thai cooking. After you've served your dishes to your friends, they'll say two words..."aroy maak!" (very delicious!) Just buy it!

Springwater Seasons
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Pocket Books (31 October, 2000)
Author: Linda Miller
Average review score:

A guilty pleasure of the best sort...
Linda Lael Miller writes romance in a way that is sometimes so necessary - the people are wonderful, their lives (though hard) are wonderful, and their romances are so full of love and purpose that you imagine their world crumbling without the perfection of it.

And I love every minute of it.

Though slightly less sophisticated than her Primrose Creek series, the Springwater novels are to me a happy little world that's pleasant and loving and - with the modern day continuation of A Springwater Wedding - heartwarming in its continuity.

LINDA LAEL MILLER HAS DONE IT AGAIN
YES, LINDA LAEL MILLER HAS CERTAINLY DONE IT AGAIN. SHE IS AN EXCELLENT WRITER IN ROMANCE WRITING. IN MY OPINION SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST. I ENJOYED SPRINGWATER VERY MUCH. WHEN I FIRST SAW THE BOOK I HAD SECOND THOUGHTS OF BUYING IT BUT I DO NOT REGRET BUYING THIS ABSOLUTE FABULOUS BOOK. THE CHARCATERS IN THIS NOVEL SEEMS SO REAL SO FRIENDLY.

Some Seasons!!!!!!!
I knew when buying this book that it would be good, but I never knew it would this Good. I couldnt put it down. After finishing one book I would wish that it hadnt ended cause of the loving charachters but then I would start the other of the four stories and see the previous characters in it and become enthrawled into their lives once again.
To be quite honest, I cannot say which story I enjoyed the most. They were all so heart-warmingly sweet. I feel in love with each and every person residing in Springwater.
I suggest that Springwater should be read before this book as it is the first in the line of this collection.
ENJOY!!!!!!!

Thoughts While Walking the Dog
Published in Paperback by excentrix press (June, 2001)
Author: Lynn Ruth Miller
Average review score:

A Gifted, Honest and Warm-hearted Writer.
Lynn Ruth Miller has the ability to weave magic with her words. She enchants her readers with a positive attitude along with a general joy in the very art of being. Lynn Ruth shares her wisdom in a manner that makes it accessible to all comers. Her look at life is realistic and yet full of hope. If there is a positive side to any situation, she will find it and help you to see it as well. Since reading her book, I find myself reaching for it whenever I am having a particularly difficult day or a sad moment. As I read her words and stories, the veil of melancholy lifts and a smile begins to spread across my lips. I urge anyone who occasionally needs to see the positive side of life in all its simple splendor to spend a bit of time with Lynn Ruth Miller. You will find it is a marvelous investmet.

Wonderfully funny and insightful
Thoughts While Walking the Dog is the kind of enchanting book you'll want to read several times and then keep close by, so that every now and again you can reread one or two of the essays and rejoice in the quirkiness and sad/funny wonders of life..and of Lynn Ruth Miller, an original in a world that badly needs originals. Who else but Lynn Ruth Miller could write the following (a clerk has just offered her a senior discount): "Now I know very well that true beauty resides in your heart and externals are so superficial that every intelligent person immediately ignores them. I firmly believe this WHEN I AM DISCUSSING SOMEONE ELSE." Women will chuckle and perhaps sometimes cry while reading this collection of straight-talking yet subtle renditions of life in our times. Miller is a writer who knows how to touch people's hearts -- and leave her mark on them forever. Highly recommended.

Thoughts While Walking the Dog
Great book for curling up with on a rainy afternoon. Short, humerous stories that will make you smile. This book will have you recalling wonderful memories of your own life while giving you a "warm and fuzzy" feeling. I can't wait to read "More Thoughts While Walking the Dog"
